Good Blogging Practice Part-32
How to make the blog more reader friendly? was my last discussion on “Good Blogging Practice“. Making the blog more reader friendly can be done in different ways. If you have your own hosted Wordpress blog then you can do it with plug-ins, widgets etc. But too much is always avoidable, because it becomes headache for your server.
Just recapitulate; after installing, when you first typed the URL of your blog on browser and pressed enter, how fast it was loaded. But, after adding some plug-ins, sponsor ad program, etc., how much time does it takes to load the same blog? Definitely not the same time as it took before.
In this regard, I always evaluate new things like, plug-ins, widgets, extra add-on’s, etc., but, if I find that add-on is slowing down my blog load-time or hogging space I don’t use it further. I keep those things which are necessary and through those things out which hogs lots of space and load-time.
So, keep your blog as simple as you can; it not only boosts blog readership but also looks impressive
Here, the logic behind is simple; and numerous number of example could be given on it. Just consider this example; when you visit some blog and found nothing except lots of sponsor advertisement, banners, etc., then, how do you react to it?
If you would have asked this question to me, I would have answered, “no more visit again”.
So, keeping the blog as simple as possible can be considered as “Good Blogging Practice” too. Keep the blog as a blog!
