As we can see from the above chart that PayPal is the second choice for Phisher just after eBay. But PayPal, eBay are not sitting back and seeing the phisher’s game show. It has joined with ICONIX to fight the phishing battle.

truemarkICONIX, Inc. which has been founded in 2005 with a noble thought to control the growing concern of e-mail based identity theft issue; and they have developed an unique software called Iconix eMail ID which first authenticates with industry standard technology then identifies the sender from its list of registered senders and finally send the email to your inbox. That means, from now onwards whenever you will get Truemark icon(a gold lock with a checkmark) tagged mail from Iconix approved sender it will be the secured one you can trust.

Till date Iconix eMail ID works with almost all of the email programs like, Yahoo!® Mail, Yahoo!® Mail BETA, AT&T® Yahoo!® Mail, MSN® Hotmail®, Windows LiveTM Hotmail, GmailTM (standard), GmailTM (basic), Earthlink® web mail, AOL® Suite, etc.

So, stop phishing attack with Iconix eMail ID, it worth a lot today!

Hey are these Iconix clowns for REAL? There is very little suggesting their legitimacy, and, like the fool that I am, in installed their program. Norton didn’t set off bells and whistles, which is good. However, even their own messages didn’t have their Iconix mark on them when emailed to me. I still wonder if it too is a hoax and will remain skeptical untl I hear evidence of its legitimacy.
Would be nice if it were real though… I’m not counting on it.
