Choosing Best Host For Your Blog Is Necessary, Why?
If you blog seriously and professionally then having own domain name is necessary for personal identity. And when you hunt for quality web hosting service provider it becomes a tiresome job. Some hosting service provider are providing more space and more bandwidth but service qualities (support, uptime, etc.) are bad.
So, to judge good web host you need to consider some parameters in mind, such as better up-time and 24/7 prompt support should be given first priority.
If you take my experience: my previous web hosting service provider had 24/7 prompt support, but up-time was not better. My blog Espreson used to down several times.
Now I switched to ANHosting, which provided me
Sounds good and lucrative!
But, why switched to ANHosting?
- Reason: WordPress recommended
- Reason: best up-time and 24/7 prompt support (in my experience till date)
- Reason: ANHosting provides QuickSwitch service (it gives you hassel free transfer of your blog to ANHosting from your current registrar)
- Reason: Better package (as described above) at affordable price $6.95/mo
So, whenever you go for any hosting service provider for your blog always judge
- Best up-time and 24/7 prompt support
- Compare some good web-host
- Get some feedback from forum or user of that web-host
- Price comparison as per package
That’s all.

First of all of course your right: to have your own domain name is important and after one year at Blogger, I decided to go for WP and registered http://www.terella.no and it was a success. Google finds it more easy, my Technoraty authority has jumped and bloggers seams to find me more easily.
Another important thing is of course is a supportive host making your blog available 24/7 and also with a reasonable capacity. Mine proved worth it at the time when I was nominated for European Best Blog as more than 2000 visitors one day and at the most, more than 200 at the time.
I pay about 15 $ per month, but I like it to be a local one as I know the guys who runs it and always gets the best support.
Wishing you a great end to your week
