What Blog Editor Do You Use To Write Posts? (GBP-41)
Before starting discussion on, “What Blogging Software Do You Use To Write Blog Posts?”, I want to first give details of GBP-41 as you have seen in the title of the post.
It’s Good Blogging Practice Part-41, in short GBP-41. Now you could ask, why this major change?
As you know, title of blog post speaks on behalf of rest of the post; and I think this is the first kind of title writing strategy taken by me in blogosphere.
So, now let me come the main topic - What Blogging Software Do You Use To Write Blog Posts?
I use Windows Live Writer, because,
- First of all Most user friendly - in sense of writing posts, editing, publishing (from desktop).
- It’s WYSIWYG enabled - which we need to add & edit style of the post such as, headings, fonts, colors, background images, paragraph spacing, margins and block quotes, table, formatting font alignment, etc.
- It’s easy for Photo Publishing, Map Publishing, adding Videos, etc. - which is todays requirement for every blogger.
- It’s Compatiblity - weblogs including Blogger, LiveJournal, TypePad, WordPress, etc. and lots more are supported.
Beside Windows Live Writer there are other blog editor like, Qumana, ScribeFire(Firefox Add-on), etc. comes also at free of cost. To use ScribeFire you need to open your Firefox Browser and not so robust compared to Windows Live Writer. In 
case of Qumana, it is featured packed just like Windows Live Writer, but it is one step ahead of Windows Live Writer with its Q Ads (add advertisement based on keyword you choose and make money out of it) feature.
But, why I have chosen this post - What Blogging Software Do You Use To Write Posts? under Good Blogging Practice, because it’s best practice to write post from desktop itself and whenever your writing is finished you can publish it with just one click. It saves time, bandwidth cost of running internet, fast, more customizable, etc.
