I use Windows Live Writer, because,

  • First of all Most user friendly - in sense of writing posts, editing, publishing (from desktop).
  • It’s WYSIWYG enabled - which we need to add & edit style of the post such as, headings, fonts, colors, background images, paragraph spacing, margins and block quotes, table, formatting font alignment, etc.
  • It’s easy for Photo Publishing, Map Publishing, adding Videos, etc. - which is todays requirement for every blogger.

Beside Windows Live Writer there are other blog editor like, Qumana, ScribeFire(Firefox Add-on), etc. comes also at free of cost. To use ScribeFire you need to open your Firefox Browser and not so robust compared to Windows Live Writer. In What Blog Editor Do You Use To Write Posts? (GBP-41)case of Qumana, it is featured packed just like Windows Live Writer, but it is one step ahead of Windows Live Writer with its Q Ads (add advertisement based on keyword you choose and make money out of it) feature.
