First Ever in India: Amway's New Green Manufacturing Unit LEED Gold standards

Amway has hoisted their own manufacturing flag in India at Nilakottai in the Dindigul district of Tamil Nadu, fulfilling commitment to “Make in India, Make for India”. This $100 million USD manufacturing facility will produce several Amway product includes nutrition, beauty, personal care and home care for sale in India.

The world class green manufacturing facility is one of the first in India to be built to achieve LEED Gold standards. It’s designed to achieve energy optimization and operational efficiency.

Here are some of its features:

  • It will be a zero discharge waste facility.
  • It has one of the largest solar rooftops in Tamil Nadu.
  • It has a goal of conserving up to 50,000 cubic meters of rain water every year.
