Google Voice is an innovative service by Google that allow you to have a single unique number for all your phones and voicemail. That means, you just give one number provided by Google Voice to all of your friends, family members, colleagues, business contacts, then take and place call from the single number and to do this you don’t need to sit beside your computer.
In the communication technology Google Voice is another competing counterpart of Skype that works with email ids. But, I think basic idea of the Google Voice, “one phone number for all your phones, for life.” is going to stand up among other. It’s a new flavor with One Phone Number catchword.
Few years back when Google acquired Grand Central we did not knew that the search engine giant was going to rebrand
Grand Central as Google Voice, but in March 2009 it came into limelight. The news headline, “Google Launches Google Voice” pushed the Google Trends to a new high and there is no doubt that the full fledged public launch of Google Voice will rock again.
But, when will it be launched? As per Goggle’s statement,
We expect to have the service ready for new users in a matter of weeks, and are focused on opening it as soon as possible.
Now, the promise of Google Voice “one phone number for all your phones, for life.” will it be confined only to U.S. (at this time Google Voice is only available in the U.S.) or available for rest of the world? Google Voice is totally free service except for International calls.
By the way, what is in the Google Voice?
- One number for all your phones,
- Place and take calls,
- Call screening,
- Block calls,
- Send, receive and store SMS,
- Phones forwarding — In which added phone you want to receive call,
- Phone routing,
- Voicemail,
- Call conferencing,
- Record calls,
- and many more.
So, what’s up, wait for the full fledged public launch of Google Voice. But, in the meantime you can ask for invitation of Google Voice.
What do you think, Public Launch of Google Voice will rock the Hot Trends?
